Customer reviews
As advertised

Looks good, feels good and works as advertised. Love the "smart head" for whatever type of valve needs filling. My bike uses presta but works just a easy on schrader. Pumps a large volume of air and the gauge appears to be pretty close to right. Hose is longer than some making it easy to attach to the valve. All in all a great pump.
Fantastic pump

Great pump. Love the pressure gauge with the huge display. Love the large, comfortable handles and huge foot pieces for stability. Highly recommended.

Works great, pumps large volume and the connector always holds solid to the valve stem. The gauge is easy to read, had to put the rubber foot pad in the sun to heat it up so it slipped on the base easier.
Works fine; watch out for a leaky gauge
by .. G. Lee (San Francisco Bay Area)
The Topeak JoeBlow Turbo Floor Bike Pump works as well as one would expect from a bicycle floor pump. I use it to inflate low pressure, "beach cruiser" type bicycle tires and it worked fine for my purposes. These are Schrader type valves; I haven't tried out the universal SmartHead fitting on Presta valves.
I had an issue with a leaking sound coming from the top of the pump. (Despite the leak I was able to successfully fill the tires.) I called customer service and the representative recognized the problem immediately. He sent me a replacement gauge for me to install myself. No instructions were included but it looks pretty easy. (I haven't gotten to it yet to know if that's indeed true!)
...Unless you're looking for a leak
by .. Darren (San Antonio, TX)
The sad part is that the pump works so well you can use it on car tires. Well, low aspect ratio tires so the volume isn't too time consuming. But when I was trying to find a leak in a bike tire the only hiss I could hear was coming from the gauge head of the pump. I found a local bike shop that would trade it for another. After some fumbles it finally came in. And... it leaks too. Inside the pod holding the gauge, but not the tube attachment. You just can't leave it on little street tires or they bleed down quickly.
